True to Carrie Graber's signature style of portraying women and girls in moments of intense self realization, this stunning work shows the subject in a moment of deep introspection while the viewer is allowed a fleeting glimpse of her most private thoughts. She is clothed in a classic white dress made of a gauzy material which gives her an ethereal glow as she basks in the golden beams of the sunset reflected off the Salt Lake Temple. She contemplates her future, and her white garment indicates not only her purity and innocence, but also her eventual wedding gown, temple dress, and place in eternity.

Exciting things are happening at Impressions Everlasting! As always, we are committed to commissioning today's best and most influential artists to produce spectacular works which incorporate the Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Through our careful selection process, we have collaborated only with artists of the highest caliber who have established themselves as the masters of our time.
In particular, we have recently reached an agreement with an extraordinary individual with whom you are most likely already familiar. He has sold over 15 million dollars worth of work in the last year alone and is regarded as a living treasure by many in the art community. He paints in a classic style which is at once powerfully moving, yet breathtakingly elegant and beautiful. It is no wonder, therefore, that he is one of the most widely collected artists today and that a number of his original works are housed in museums and prestigious collections throughout the world. We speak, of course, of the virtuoso Pino who has agreed to produce four original works over the next twelve months, each featuring a prominent and beloved Temple from four major cities: Salt Lake City, Logan, Los Angeles, and San Diego.

This lush watercolor by Alvar is a wonderful addition to Impressions Everlasting. In vivid color, three Pioneer women representing youth, adulthood, and old age are depicted in the style for which Alvar is famous. They are gathered together at a table to partake of the sweet fruits of the gospel. Behind them stands the ethereal Salt Lake Temple superimposed on a sliver of silver moon.
