About Us

For many years, Prophets of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints have encouraged members to embark on a delightful, spiritually affirming mission: to display pictures of Temples in their homes, thereby providing a constant reminder of faith and a wonderful tool for the instruction of families in the way and history of the Church. Traditionally, these images have been limited to photographs of varying degrees of quality. While some paintings, lithographs and etchings of Temples did exist (In particular, historical images of the original Nauvoo temple in Illinois), many of these were produced for architectural purposes or have been housed in museums or individual collections. Even today as art expressing LDS themes is enjoying a renaissance, images of Temples are found infrequently at best. In 2004, a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints decided that it was time for a change. Thus, Impressions Everlasting was born to provide what could not be found elsewhere: the finest rendered images of LDS Temples by today's best artists.
James Jensen - The Field Is White - LDS Temple Paintings Impressions Everlasting understands the importance of offering collectors real value and artwork that has the potential to appreciate in value. Therefore, we will offer only one edition of each image. (The image may come in two sizes, but in both cases, we will indicate the total edition size clearly before you purchase one of our prints.) We also WON'T offer open editions or calendars whose images can be removed and framed by anyone who buys the calendar. We understand that collectors want the most unique and exclusive LDS artwork available today. Thus, each Impressions Everlasting print comes with a certificate of authenticity that clearly states the edition size, the medium, the printing process and a guarantee that there will not be another edition of the
image EVER. (Imagine what would happen to the value of a limited edition print if it sold out quickly and was offered again in a slightly different size in an edition of 10,000? Suddenly what was very exclusive and desirable becomes ordinary and of much less value.)

At Impressions Everlasting, we have commissioned some of the art world's best and brightest stars to produce images of LDS Temples, as well as works on other important Church historical and family themes. As a result, we are able to offer limited editions of these spectacular works to families and art lovers. Paintings by these superb artists have, until now, been found only in exclusive galleries, private collections and museums. Through our collaboration, however, a select number of highest quality prints will be offered to art aficionados for the first time and only through Impressions Everlasting.
As an organization founded by a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, we understand the precious nature of faith and family, and as passionate art lovers ourselves, we recognize the value in the finest human expression. At Impressions Everlasting, we are committed to offering the highest quality depictions of LDS symbols as expressed by today's most gifted artists in the styles that made them famous. These beautiful works will endure the test time and are certain to provide years of enjoyment for families and their prosperity. Please note that while none of our commissioned artists are members of the Mormon Church, all are recognized by both their peers and collectors as superstars of today's art world, and all have faithfully and lovingly reproduced those things held dear by members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

HOW OUR PRICING WORKS

In order to preserve the value and uniqueness of these spectacular prints, Impressions Everlasting will only offer one--and only one--edition of each image. This means that once an edition is sold out, it is gone forever and will never again be available from Impressions Everlasting, the artist, or any other gallery in a slightly different size or on paper instead of canvas. Also, we do not and will not offer our limited editions as open editions once we sell the higher priced limited edition. As a result, this guarantees that the buyer will receive a very exclusive product at a price well below that found in most galleries.

Also, our price on each edition increases as that edition sells out. This is done in five equal increments, each of which is priced 20-50% higher than the previous subset. In other words, the first 20% of the entire edition will be sold at the starting price, the second will be priced 20-50% higher than that total, and so on until the edition is sold out. Therefore, those who buy early will get the lowest price-the early bird really will get the worm so to speak. If you are not one of the fortunate few to get the lowest introductory price, don't fret. In many cases just being able to purchase one of our prints at any price is quite rewarding after all there are twelve million members of the church and the largest edition size we have ever offered is 395!

Additionally, we have an anniversary sale each November during which we offer a 20% discount off the current price of our entire inventory. Keep in mind, however, that this discount is most effective for works which have just been released. An edition that is released the previous May, for instance, will not likely be cheaper during the anniversary sale since the price of that edition will have increased as each 20% of the total is sold.
